What is a womb surround process workshop? A womb surround Process Workshop is a small group format developed by Dr Raymond Castellino in 1992 where a safe and welcoming ‘womb surround’ is created. In this environment participants are able to explore and re-pattern early prenatal, birth and attachment imprinting that impact their lives today. Material from other stages of life may be worked with as well. This format was created by Dr Castellino because he found that ‘complete and lasting transformations most often happen in small group settings’. Usually there are 5-7 participants in a workshop, over a span of 3-5 days. There is ample time for personal work to occur in a spacious way, that allows for integration of your own piece as well as your experience of other’s. The venue is most often a comfortable private home space which enables the cost to be reasonable given the size of the group.

The format of the process Workshop In the first segment of the workshop, intentions are shared and guiding principles and structure are reviewed and established. These principles offer basic interactive, empathy and contact skills so that participants are actively able to support each other in a safe and nurturing manner that allows for sharing and receiving in a deep and resourcing way. For each person, I facilitate a session approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours long, with guided support from the group. She or he explore their unique intention and the connection to their own physical and emotional patterns from prenatal, birth or early origins. Fresh understanding and healing can occur, translating into healthier relationships and ease in life.
Each session we do is preceded by in depth group processes and is followed by group sharing, integration and discussion. These workshops are intentionally small so as to create safety, trust and attention to everyone’s needs. This is vitally important when exploring early imprinting from preverbal times. Evenings of the workshop are kept free as there is not a set ending time for the days. This is because sessions can vary in time and being spacious and allowing what wants to unfold is integral to this early life work. Integration can happen in the evening times when they are open.
This small group model integrates: Group interactive processes, Somatic trauma restoration, Biodynamic craniosacral therapy, Prenatal, birth and attachment therapy, Energetic bodywork, Birth simulation Plus other touch and empathy skills.
Who is his workshop for?
Thess Process Workshops are open to professionals and non professionals who are drawn to explore this area for their own personal growth. Professionals will find that they naturally implement tools learnt, as well as their own integrated experience, into their work. They benefit, by experiencing the profound change possible with this approach. Most significantly, this process has a powerful, enduring way of building and deepening loving bonds within primary relationships.
Process Workshop Birth History Form
A Birth History form is to be completed online and emailed to me within one week of signing up and paying for the workshop. I need to review this information to confirm your place in the workshop. This is quite an extensive form and you may need time to contact your parent(s), if appropriate. This information is kept confidential. If I have an assistant, some material may be shared verbally with them so that they can better support you.
This form will be emailed to you upon signing up. My email: jenieforpeace@gmail.com
Follow up support
I offers a group call which is covered by the Process Workshop fee, via Skype or telephone. Further session times will be at Jenie’s regular fee. Group members maintain connection after the workshop is over to support each other to continue to integrate material from their own and other’s work.
